Satin is woven so that the right side is shiny and the reverse is matte. It drapes beautifully and adds a fluid look to any outfit.

Silk is thermoregulating and absorbs moisture well, which makes it a fabric to wear all year round.

Use: this silky satin is suitable for making garments such as dresses, shirts and tops, underwear, and accessories such as scrunchies, scarves or pillowcases.

The fabric is ready to dye. It is perfectly suited to natural dyes. It has already been pre-washed for dyeing. For best results, simply soak it in water for 30 minutes before dyeing. For strong, intense colours, consider mordanting it.

Care: silk satin can be dry-cleaned or washed by hand, in water not exceeding 30° and with a mild detergent.
